In addition to gathering on Sundays for fellowship, worship, ministry, and sharing of the word, we have other types of gatherings that facilitate various functions of the center. These include:
Wednesday Night Training. We gather routinely on Wednesday evenings for kingdom training. While Sunday mornings are devoted to the family dynamic, Wednesday evenings are focused on training the family to be an army. An effective kingdom people know how to advance God’s reign and rule over the earth because they are properly trained. At KingdomLife, we teach our family how to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We have adopted a mindset whereby we view our mission field as the arenas of everyday life. Through kingdom training, we learn how to invade and occupy the places where we work, play, shop, conduct business, and so on as living epistles who reflect the Father’s character and nature. It is with this understanding that we invade and occupy the arenas of commerce, entertainment, government, education, and all dynamics of earth-life with the authority and power of Christ.
Wednesday night training is facilitated in a classroom style setting under the direction of a five-fold teaching gift (Ephesians 4:11-12). Foundational material is taught from the Bible, and includes such topics as “Feasts of the Old Testament,” “Blood Covenant,” “Tabernacle of David Worship,” “Spiritual Sonship verses Slavery,” “Engaging the Seven Mountains of Culture,” and “Learning How to Pray Kingdom Prayers.” Class schedules are rotated, and course lengths vary up to three months. Training is open to anyone who wants to attend, and the only prerequisite is an open heart and a willing spirit. Meeting locations and class topics are posted on the events page of our website each month.
Home Fellowships. On the last Sunday of each month we close our main gathering, and meet in homes instead. Home fellowships are hosted by a member of KingdomLife, and are facilitated by an apostolic/prophetic leadership team. As always, the four principles of fellowship, worship, ministry, and sharing of the word are embraced by each group in a format that is conducive to a family dynamic. Meeting locations and group facilitator assignments are posted on the events page of our website each month.
Weekly Prayer. Each week we gather corporately to pray over the ministry of KingdomLife. Our prayer is directed by the Holy Spirit, and we pray over such things as personal needs; issues affecting our city, state, and nation; city and national leaders; the Body of Christ at large; and much more. Prayer times and locations are posted on the events page of our website.
Weekend Conferences.Throughout the year we host weekend conferences to address areas in the Body of Christ that need special attention. Examples of these include such topics as “Unmasking Deception in the Body of Christ,” “Interpreting Dreams and Visions,” and “Aligning the Generations with Kingdom Synergy for Regional Transformation.” Conferences are facilitated in both classroom and seminar style settings in order to allow for interaction with the speaker. Attendees are invited to ask questions as well as share insights and feedback regarding the subject matter. All conferences involve times of personal ministry and special impartation at the conclusion of the conference.
In addition to our regular weekend conferences, we also hold special conferences throughout the year in conjunction with Family Foundations International, the ministry of Craig Hill. Topics covered in these conferences include such things as “Ancient Paths 1,” “Ancient Paths 2,” “Financial Freedom,” “Overcoming Anger,” “The Question for Men,” “The Question for Women,” and the “Covenant Marriage Retreat.” Times and locations for all of our conferences are posted on the events page of our website.
Fall Gathering. Each year in October, we hold our annual Fall Gathering. This annual event originally began in 2002 as a homecoming celebration for those who were connected to our ministry. It has since evolved into a time of family, fun, fellowship, and ministry to one another. The gathering is held in Frisco annually, and features a different theme each year. Dates for the annual gathering are posted on the events page of our website.
Men, Women, and Youth Retreats.Sometimes we all just need to get away for a weekend, and that’s why we have men's, women's, and youth retreats. For many years we have gotten away to various places like Lakeview Conference Center, Camp Copass, New Braunfels, Youth for the Nations, and many other destinations. Retreats are a time for fun, fellowship, and relaxing with the ones you love. Sometimes, we’ll take just one night or a day during the week to get away and have fun. At KingdomLife, you never know what we’re going to do next. Tune into the events page of our website to see when the next retreat is coming up.
