The Kingdom Center is a unique concept for many in the Body of Christ.  While many Christians are beginning to walk in the revelation of the kingdom of God, others remain unfamiliar with its operation, its expression, and its function in the life of the believer.  By definition, the word "kingdom" refers to the "reign, realm, and rule of God over all His creation including the universe and all living beings."  God, as Creator, formed the heavens and the earth and God, as King, has full power and authority to rule over it.  In like manner, He has delegated that same power and authority to His people, The Church, and He now looks to us to govern the heavens and the earth on His behalf until He returns.

A Kingdom Center is the principal hub from which the kingdom of God is embraced, expressed, and then released by Christian believers into a region.  By definition, a center is the “core or middle of anything,” which would clearly indicate that when used together, the words "Kingdom Center" refer to a place where the "central focus, objective, and mission is one in which the saints engage The King and His kingdom, and then release that kingdom into the region in which they are called."

Outwardly, a Kingdom Center has some of the same characteristics as a local church.  The saints gather on Sundays to fellowship, worship, teach the Bible, and minister to the needs of one another.  However, in function, a Kingdom Center embodies much more than just gathering.   The
“A Kingdom Center is where God’s kingdom is embraced, expressed, and then released.”
best way to describe a Kingdom Center is to share the vision the Lord gave us in 2001.  In the vision, the Holy Spirit showed us a building with the name Kingdom Life Christian Center on the outside.  We entered the building and walked with the Lord down a long hallway with doors on each side.  The Lord opened the doors one by one, and in each of the rooms something different was going on.  In one room we saw praise and worship with glory filling the room.  In another room there were children being taught and nurtured.  In yet another room there were ministers being trained and equipped, obviously being prepared to engage in their life assignments.  In other rooms, missionaries packing their bags in preparation for the mission field, Christians were ministering to hurting and dying humanity, courtrooms were filled with judges who rendered righteous decrees and judgments toward the innocent, and the kingdom of God was being expressed in all realms of culture.  After visiting the last room, the Lord spoke and said, “In my Father’s house are many rooms,” and immediately we knew that the Lord had just showed us a picture of a Kingdom Center.  We have since come to the understanding that a Kingdom Center is a place where The King is at the center, and as saints interact with the King of kings, they then go out and build His kingdom in their sphere of culture.

Following the Kingdom Center vision, we launched Kingdom Life Christian Center in November 2001 and began to teach the Body of Christ about the kingdom of God.  For nearly a decade now, we have taught believers what it means to be a “kingdom people.”  We have shifted many paradigms in the Body of Christ, including a shift from a local congregation mindset where Christians "attend church each week" to a Christian community mindset where believers "govern the culture around them."   We have shifted the concept of local church from being a pastor-led system where the local pastor and staff take care of all the needs of the Body to a kingdom-led system where the saints learn how to engage needs together and solve those needs as the Body of Christ.  We have shifted the traditional Christian paradigm from one where the saints are constantly calling on their pastor to fix all of the problems in their life and ministry to one where the saints know how to walk in their authority in Christ and effectuate solutions that bring about change on the earth.  We have taught the Body of Christ that in every arena of culture—our homes, our schools, our businesses, civil government, religion, media, and in the entertainment industry—The Church has the power, the authority, and the right to change and influence it for glory of God.

We embrace the Lord's prayer as our declaration to the world, “Let Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  Simply stated this means that everything on earth must line up with the culture of heaven.  In heaven, there is no sickness, no disease, no poverty, and no oppression; therefore, on earth, there should be none of this as well.  In heaven, the King of kings and the Lord of lords is sovereign and Supreme over all; therefore, on earth, He should be sovereign and Supreme as well.  Every nation, every tribe, and every tongue should be bowing down and proclaiming that He is Lord.  Every man, every woman, and every child should acknowledge and accept His Lordship over all.  Not one person should perish, but all should have eternal life, and all should learn how to walk in eternal life on earth as it is in heaven.

The Kingdom Center is something that is better experienced than explained; therefore, we encourage you to plug into one for yourself.  We provide many outlets to do this, such as our podcast, our blog, our seminars and conferences, our Sunday morning gatherings, our mid-week trainings, and so forth.  We invite you to dive into our resources and use them to learn about the kingdom of God and how to operate in it.  Our sincerest desire is that you will embrace the kingdom of God as we have, and that you will learn to function in it as a part of your calling and destiny as kings and priests upon the earth.  You were sent to this earth to reign and rule upon Christ's behalf so let KingdomLife show you how!
